Participation to the 8th Food Engineering Symposium (Warsaw – Poland)

Dr Younes Noutfia and Prof. Ewa Ropelewska participated to the “VIII Sympozjum Inżynierii Żywności” helding in Department of Food Engineering and Production Organization – Institute of Food Sciences SGGW from 1 to 3 July 2024.

This symposium was the occasion for presenting ongoing results of the M-LEARN4DATE project through 2 oral presentations:

  • Influence of convective drying on chemical, mechanical and color properties of two Moroccan date fruit (Phoenix dactylifera) varieties (Noutfia Y).
  • Imaging profile of fresh and dried date fruit using different imaging devices (Ropelewska E).

For information, Symposium program included plenary sessions comprising 4-6 plenary papers devoted to unit processes in food processing, physical properties of raw materials and products, energy and environmental protection, as well as issues related to the organisation of production, which were presented by invited speakers, the most outstanding specialists from Poland and abroad.
